July 2022 Box Reveal

We have some delicious flavours lined up for you this month. Read on to find out what’s baking at Cake HQ in July.

We have such a great mix of flavours for July. From fruity raspberry and zesty lime to the more subtle flavours of Earl Grey.

One of our favourite jobs at Cake HQ is test baking and trying out new recipes.

Some of our cakes can take multiple tests before we get it just right! We then have the added challenges of; can we fit it in a box? and, is it suitable for posting? This  can really test us some month’s but we enjoy a challenge and it’s great seeing the box come together.

OUR FOUR MAIN BAKES THIS MONTH ARE:
  • Raspberry and lime cake – A fruity raspberry sponge with a zesty lime icing. A delicious cake with all the taste of summer.
  • Earl Grey loaf – back by popular demand. This unusual cake has all the lovely subtle flavours from Earl Grey tea and is topped with lemon icing
  • Chocolate orange brownie – Our signature dark chocolate brownie with orange topped with a piece of fruity candied orange.
  • Jammie Dodger blondie – Gooey blondie with white chocolate and a swirl of raspberry jam, packed full of Jammie Dodgers.
AS WELL AS THESE MAIN BAKES WE ALSO HAVE A COUPLE MORE THAT FEATURE IN OUR:
  • Only Cake Box – The Raspberry and lime cake and Earl Grey loaf will be joined by Chocolate orange cake and Apricot Victoria Sandwich
  • The Brownie Box – our 4 piece box will contain our Chocolate orange brownies. Our mixed boxes will also contain Raspberry and lime brownies and Walnut brownies.
